Our commitment

Red Cardinal Property Investmentis committed to making redcardinal.co.uk and the client portal accessible in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Property is a significant financial decision, and we don't want any investor excluded from the same information our fully-sighted, fully-mobile clients receive.

What we believe we do well

• Semantic HTML throughout, with landmarks (header, main, nav, footer) on every page.
• Keyboard navigation across all primary journeys, including a visible skip-to-content link.
• Text and interactive components tested against a 4.5:1 contrast ratio.
• Form inputs have programmatic labels and clear error messages.
• Focus outlines are preserved and visible, not suppressed.
• Video content on the Video Library includes title metadata; transcripts available on request.
• Page layout adapts down to 320px and reflows to 400% zoom without horizontal scroll.
• No auto-playing media with sound. No automatically moving content that can't be paused.

Known issues

We're honest about where we fall short. These are scheduled for remediation:

• Some embedded Vimeo videos lack closed captions. We're progressively re-uploading with CC tracks.
• Older PDF market reports and brochures may not be fully tagged for screen readers. An accessible text version can be requested on any download.
• The interactive UK map on the Investments page uses hover-based tooltips; a list-view alternative is provided below the map.
• Complex data tables (investment compare, city compare) may require horizontal scroll on narrow screens. Row labels remain sticky.

Getting help

If any part of the site or portal is causing you difficulty, we will provide the same information and service by a route that works for you. Options include:

• Call us directly on 020 3386 9750, Mon to Fri · 08:00 to 18:00.
• Email Info@redcardinal.co.uk with the URL and a short description of the problem.
• Request an investment pack as a Word document, large-print PDF, or braille edition.
• Request a verbal walkthrough of the portal over a video call, with a named advisor narrating.

Reporting a barrier

If you spot something that isn't listed above, please tell us. We aim to acknowledge your email within 2 business days and, where the fix is feasible, deliver it within 20 business days. Complex changes may take longer; we'll keep you updated.

Enforcement

If you contact us with a complaint about accessibility and are unhappy with our response, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 and the wider Equality Act 2010. Technical specification

The site is built with modern web standards (HTML5, CSS3, ES2024 JavaScript) using Next.js 16 and Tailwind CSS v4. We test against the latest two versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox on desktop, and Safari + Chrome on iOS and Android. Screen-reader testing uses VoiceOver on macOS/iOS and NVDA on Windows.
